13-inch LCD display screen gives you high picture quality with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels displaying crystal clear picture and sharp video playback. Also supports the Dolby sound Theatre utility giving better sound quality.
Processor
Intel-Core i5 1.6 GHz dual-core processor with a 4GB RAM gives you high speed computing. It consists of a hybrid storage with a 320GB HDD main storage and a small 20GB SDD for caching. Intel HD Graphics with 128B RAM gives a good gaming experience.
Keyboard
A full-QWERTY keyboard with well-spaced out keys are easy to use. A reasonably sized track pad is smooth and supports multi-touch like pinch-to-zoom and two-finger scrolling. The left and right buttons are built-into the 3.4 x 2.5-inch Elan trackpad and not separately visible.
Operating system & Other Software
Windows 7 Home premium edition come preinstalled. Some other Acer apps included are Acer Deep Sleep, Acer Backup Manager, Acer Crystal Eye Webcam and the Acer Games portal. Other software pre-loaded are Internet radio, newsXpresso, Nook for PC, Skype, MS Office and trial McAffee.

A 1.3MP webcam is present in the front for video chat.

Acer claims a battery backup of 6 to 7 hours.

Priced at around Rs.44,900, the Acer Aspire S3 is one of the cheapest ultrabooks in the market.
