How to start Turbo C in the DOSBox automatically

You can save your time by having DOSBox automatically mount your folders and start Turbo C. Here's how you can do it:

For DOSBox versions older then 0.73 browse into program installation folder and open the dosbox.conf file in any text editor. Then scroll down to the very end, and add the lines which you want to automatically execute when DOSBox starts.

Speed Up Your Shut Down In Windows XP

Are you tired of waiting while your windows shuts down? Now no more wait, thanks to this cool trick.
The trick is in two parts. Follow both of them for best results.

Part-1
1. Open the Registry Editor (Start >> Run >> type regedit).
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control
3. Click on the "Control" Folder.
4. Select "WaitToKillServiceTimeout".
5. Right click on it, select modify and set it a value lower than 2000 (the lesser the faster, but remember don't set it less than 100 to be on the safer side).

Part-2

Change Yahoo Messenger's Title Bar Text

Hey guys now you can change the Yahoo Messenger 's title bar which this little tweak.

Just follow these steps:
1. Open you yahoo messenger installation folder (default C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger).
2. Then search a file named "ymsgr". Double click to open it. If it doesn't open, then use notepad to open this file.
3. In this file just go to the end and paste the following code in a new line:

[APP TITLE]
CAPTION=Cool Guy

To HIDE a folder in mobile phone without using any software:

1) rename the folder you want to hide with a ".jad" extension.
2) create a new folder with the same name but with ".jar" extension.
3) the folder with ".jad" extension gets hidden.
4) to un-hide, simply rename or delete the folder with ".jar" extension.

Note: All actions must be performed in the same parent folder.

This Displays:
   >Serial Number

2) *#7760# for Manufactures code.

3) *#06# for IMEI(International Mobile Equipment Identity) number.

Note: Most of the sites provide several codes which actually never works. They are just meant to fool you or increase post's popularity.

Important Tips For Mobile Phone Users:

1) 112 is a worldwide emergency number for mobile. When you are out of coverage you can dial 112 and device will automatically search for existing network.

2) To avoid being "Blue jacked" (sort of hacking via bluetooth), it is advisable to keep your bluetooth OFF or set mobile phone visibility to hidden when not in use.

3) Most of the time we use mobile phone for just seeing time. If your mobile is locked, just press the on/off button to turn on your backlight to look at time without having to unlock the keypad when it is dark. It also saves battery.

4) Always enable phone lock and PIN number on your SIM card to avoid unauthorized use of your mobile phone & SIM.
